Marion Bennett

It is with great sadness I announce the passing of Marion Bennett.

On Wednesday the 30th of June at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, Marion passed in the company of Ian and their family.

Marion loved the caravanning lifestyle and along with Ian ,her husband, they raised their children Dougal, Sharon and Frazer within the SCC East Centre caravan family. Marion served on committee and constantly supported the centre and Ian with his various roles within the centre and division.

Marion was a lovely lady and will be missed by many. Our thoughts are with Ian, their family and Bob their beloved dog.


Marion’s funeral will be held on 21st of July in Mortonhall Crematorium, EH16 6TX, at 12 midday.

The current restrictions are being lifted but there is still a limit.

Please let Ian know if you will attend.

Marion Eames

It is with deep regret that I have to inform you all that Marion Eames passed away on Saturday Evening 24th October 2020. 

Marion was a past Chairman of the West Centre, a long serving Committee member, where she held various positions.

Marion was also a past Vice President of the Scottish Caravan Club, before becoming a member of the new Forth and Clyde Centre.

She will be sadly missed by us all.

Our thought are with Billy and family at this very sad time.

Kenny Logan

 Forth & Clyde Centre










It is with great sadness I have to inform you Kenny Logan passed away peacefully at Marie Curie Centre, Edinburgh on Sunday 27 September 2020.

Kenny was a Committee Member of Forth & Clyde Centre and a past Committee Member of East Centre.

Due to the current government restrictions the funeral will be private but an online option is being arranged.

Elizabeth Watson

Elizabeth Watson, a member of the SCC East centre for over 40 years and wife of William Watson, passed peacefully after a short illness at St Johns Hospital Livingston on 4/7/2020. Members of SCC and friends are invited to pay respects outside Bathgate High Church on 14/7 at 12.30. Our thoughts are with her family.

Tom Tait

It’s with a great sadness I announce the loss of this lovely man. Tom and his family were long time members of the SCC East Centre.
He and his wife Joan recently helped us celebrate the joint SCC East & West Centre’s 70th Anniversary in January.
Tom leaves behind a host of friends with many fond memories of him.

Harry Freeman

It is with deepest regret I have to inform you that on Monday 6th April Harry Freeman passed away.

Harry along with his wife Jean were members of the West Centre for a good number of years.

Both Harry & Jean served on the West Centre Committee before moving down south.

Our thoughts are with Jean at this sad time.

John Bullions

John Bullions died on the 21st February 2020 aged 82 and his funeral was held at the Borders Crematorium on the 6th of March 2020.

John was a SCC Forth and Clyde Committee member, a SCC East Centre Committee member and a Past Chairman of SCC Dumfries and Galloway. We send our love to his wife, Helen and their family.

Helen would like to thank everyone for the money that was collected, at John's funeral, £215 went to the children's hospice where her Grand Daughter was and £215 went to the Borders Water Rescue.
